See what the ancient art of silk dye painting is all about in this fun filled workshop. Hellenne is an accomplished silk painter who will teach you techniques to create your own 11"x 60" silk scarves using a resist and Jacquard dyes. Learn how to draw and transfer your designs onto the silk. Then, once the resist has dried, mix and apply dye colors and set the dyes. The results: a colorful scarf or wall hanging, perfect for a gift or a treat for yourself!
This is a beginner- to intermediate-level workshop. The workshop is limited to 10, so please register early at www.fiberartsalliance.org/home/classes.
