Apples and ArtsFest in Fayetteville Nov 13

Fayette Senior Services Apples & ArtFest

With all the invigoration of a crisp fall day and the charm of a county fair, Fayette Senior Services will host its second annual Apples & ArtFest Saturday, November 13, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s event will be indoors at Fayette Senior Services Life Enrichment Center, 4 Center Drive, Fayetteville (across from the Justice Center), and the admission is free.

More than 45 vendors are participating and offering a wide variety of hand-crafted items including jewelry, wood crafts, children’s clothing, blankets, pottery, candles, holiday ornaments, honey, jams and jellies, house plants, and so much more!  The Center’s Ultimate Café will be selling barbecue sandwiches, chicken wraps, and hot apple cider. There will also be fresh-baked seasonal desserts and apple treats. The festival will also include fun and games at the “Kid’s Apple COREner.”

Proceeds from the festival will benefit Fayette Senior Services, Inc. (FSS), a non-profit, 501.c.3 organization, which provides services that help Fayette County’s older adults maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Programs include Meals on Wheels, Transportation, In-Home Personal Care/Homemaker Services, Case Management, Adult Day Care, Information & Assistance, and Home Repair. For active older adults, Fayette Senior Services Life Enrichment Center offers a wide variety of social, leisure, fitness and recreational activities, the Ultimate Café, and more! FSS programs are focused on total wellness – body, mind, and spirit – to help older adults live well and age well.
