This June, Experience the Woodruff Arts Center with FREE & Discounted Events!

Escape to the Woodruff Arts Center every Thursday night and Friday afternoon during the month of June for free entertainment, food and drink specials, and discounted tickets to see the High Museum of Art’s newest exhibitions: Monet Water Lilies and Richard Misrach: On the Beach.

Lunch Break Escapes. Each Friday in June, 11 am - 2 pm – Spend your lunch with us and enjoy live music and improv performances in the style of the Alliance Theatre and Second City’s upcoming production The Second City: Peach Drop, Stop and Roll. We’ll be grilling out on the Sifly Piazza with $10 lunch specials that include a sandwich, chips, dessert and drink, or you can bring your own lunch. While you’re here, visit the High Museum of Art with a $10 Lunch Rush Ticket.
 
Nights on the Piazza: Concert Series. Each Thursday in June, 5 pm – 8 pm – After work, come relax on the Sifly Piazza and enjoy free concerts by talented local musicians. Try the menu specials at Table 1280 or enjoy food and drink options from the outdoor grill. The High Museum of Art stays open until 8 pm and will offer 50% off admission tickets to the museum. Alliance Theatre: Everybody Can Act Workshop – June 9, 6:30 – 8:30 pm. This workshop teaches you how your entire life has prepared you to act, how to overcome stage fright, and one word that will take the mystery out of acting. Voiceover Workshop – June 15&18 (2-night workshop), 6:30 – 9:30. Learn how to break into the field of voice-over acting and explore the market in Atlanta.

High Museum of Art: Friday Jazz at the High – June 19, 5-10 pm. Special guest - Mace Hibbard Quartet. Friday Jazz is an evening of art & music every third Friday of the month, including live musical performances and extended hours with full gallery access.

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra: Tango, Fados and Dance! – June 4-6, 8 pm. Join celebrated Tango dancer Rosa Collantes and her ensemble along with songstress Luciana Souza for an evening of dance and song.

Urban Film Review – Woodruff Art Center’s Celebrate Diversity Through the Arts initiative hosts two FREE films in June: Black Women Film Festival – June 22, 8 pm. and HBO’s Shouting Fire – June 25, 8 pm.
