BCTC Presents “Eclipsed” November 18-23

The Berry College Theatre Company will present “Eclipsed,” a doleful tale of unmarried mothers separated from their children and condemned to slavery in convent-run laundries, Nov. 18-23 in the E.H. Young Theatre. Show times are 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $5 opening night and $7 for all other performances. Call 706-236-2263 for more information.

Written by Patricia Burke Brogan, “Eclipsed” is set in Ireland circa 1963. The women in the story – though subjugated by a good nun/bad nun duo – prove to be a colorfully resilient brigade. This work of historical fiction is filled with entertaining characters and plenty of dirty laundry hung out to dry.
